The sentimental three-minute clip not only rejoices in the holiday season but also honours the fact it’s been 15 years since the insanely successful Billy Elliot film was released.
“Billy Elliot is an incredible film full of so much joy and energy, so it was a real thrill and a great honour to be able to celebrate its 15th anniversary through our Festive campaign,” Burberry CEO and chief creative officer Christopher Bailey explained.
Clad in the brand’s iconic camel-coloured trench and scarf, Romeo takes centre stage alongside a slew of A-list names including musical legend Elton John, talk show host James Corden and supermodels Naomi Campbell and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
Renowned fashion photographer Mario Testino shot the slow-motion clip, which sees the stars doing their best Billy Elliot-inspired dance moves, while T-Rex’s moody track Cosmic Dancer provides the soundtrack.
On Tuesday evening Burberry officially launched the festive film at their flagship store in Regent Street, London.
Proud mother Victoria and baby brother Cruz Beckham were both in attendance to cheer on Romeo.
“So proud of Romeo!! He looks so handsome in the @Burberry festive film.Thank you#christopherbailey x vb,” the former Spice Girl gushed of her son on Instagram.
Unfortunately Romeo’s soccer pro dad David Beckham was unable to make it to the bash.
This isn’t the first time the talented teen has starred in a Burberry ad, with the model first bursting onto the scene back in 2012 for their Spring/Summer campaign.
Since then, his modelling career has continued to soar. And when your parents are two of the best looking people in the world, it’s hardly a surprise.
