Back in March, Dior announced the 27-year-old would front their newest campaign days after she was spotted shooting the breath-taking commercial at the Palace of Versailles in Paris.
This isn’t just any ordinary fashion advert – it is historic! With Rihanna the first ever woman of colour to become the face of the famous label.
It only took four stunning outfits and about two minutes for us to become obsessed with the dreamy ad.
The Grammy Award-winner looked flawless set against the backdrop of the spectacular Parisian palace that was once home to multiple French kings.
Back in March, the Barbadian beauty opened up about the significance of her casting: “’It feels fantastic it is such a big deal for me, for my culture, for a lot of young girls of any colour.”
She added: “I think, to be acknowledged by Dior is just, it means a lot as a woman to feel beautiful, and elegant, and timeless.”
Dior’s decision to cast Rihanna was met with an outpouring of support on social media, with fans tweeting the hashtag “#HistoRIH”
