The Swedish royals are known for many things, but perhaps their greatest claim to fame is knowing exactly how to capture the attention of an entire room – even one that’s jammed-packed with VIPs.
So how do they do it, you ask? Well, one doesn’t have to look far to answer that – because their dresses quite literally speak for themselves.
In yet another showstopping display (their second this week!), members of the Swedish royal family including Crown Princess Victoria, Princess Sofia and Queen Silvia all donned their glad rags for the King’s dinner, held for the Nobel Laureates in Sweden.
The glitzy reception, which was held the day after the Nobel Prize Ceremony in Stockholm, posed the perfect opportunity to wear something extra special.
And you can’t deny the three leading royal women were every bit the glamazons we know and love them to be.
Crown Princess Victoria led the arrivals in a dramatic red gown which featured large puff sleeves and a high pussy bow neckline.
Wearing a glittering tiara atop her perfectly swept-back up-do, the Queen to-be was utterly radiant.
She also went bold with her accessories, choosing to bring a bright pink clutch and adding matching heels, which bravely colour-blocked with her red dress.
Showstopping is one word for this ensemble!
Meanwhile, the ever-glamorous Princess Sofia looked gorgeous in a pink floral gown, which featured a high neckline and embroided flower detailing.
She also wore a diamond-clad tiara, and styled her brunette tresses in a chic low bun.
As she stood with her husband Prince Carl Philip, we were, quite frankly, enchanted. There’s no denying these two make a stunning couple.
Queen Silvia was also in her fashion-forward element at the glamorous dinner. She opted for a beautiful blue long-sleeved gown, which had a bow on the left shoulder.
Proving a picture perfect blow dry is possible at any and every age, the 75-year-old’s brunette hair was complimented by a dazzling intricate tiara.
We’ll confidently call it right now – this family is the ultimate style package.
The event marked the second time in a week the Swedish royals put on a display of such glamorous proportions.
On Tuesday, December 10, the dazzling family attended the Nobel Prize ceremony in Stokholm – and their outfits were enough to stop us in our tracks once again.
The Crown Princess wowed in a striking black and white gown, which featured just the one puff sleeve this time around.
Princess Sofia also drew eyeballs a-plenty in her blue off-shoulder creation.
Whatever the stylists for this family are doing, we hope they keep doing it! Obsessed.
