What’s better than Crown Princess Mary wearing yet another stylish outfit, you ask? Just Crown Princess Mary wearing yet another chic outfit while presenting a prestigious fashion award.
Yes, you could safely say we’ve reached a peak with our favourite fashion-forward international royal as Crown Princess Mary presented at the annual Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize this week, and suffice to say the pictures are a sight to behold.
Congratulating Danish designer Cecilie Bahnsen, who is the winner of this year’s Fashion Award, the Crown Princess’ outfit was bang on brief.
Wearing a lighter palette of colours, Mary opted for a multi-coloured tweed overcoat, paired with white trousers and a roll-neck top.
Leaving her hair out, makeup minimal and accessorising with a pair of simple gold hoop earrings, we can safely say the 48-year-old managed a fashion slam dunk here.
Sharing information about the event, the Palace explained: “The purpose of the Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize is to find and promote the Danish fashion designers of the future.”
This was also not the first time Mary had met this particular talented designer.
As explained further by the Palace, “In 2017, the designer received the Crown Prince Couple’s Star Sprinkle Award from Her Royal Highness.”
For this year’s award, focus was placed “sustainability and ethical responsibility, as well as business ideas, innovation and originality in design.”
The caption continued: “This year, the Magasin du Nord Fashion Prize has also had a special focus on inspiring and supporting designers in dealing with the many Covid-19-related challenges.”
Mary has been keeping busy with appearances left right and centre at the moment.
In October, she managed no less than five appearances in one week, which was no small feat for the royal.
This included a unique outdoor event aboard a ship as she marked 50 years since Frederik IX inaugurated the connecting bridge that connects Funen and Jutland.
She certainly wore the perfect coat to do it.
Midi-length, dark green and trench-style, we were understandably in awe of the new pics.
And earlier this week, both Mary and husband Prince Frederik stepped out in a rare outing together for the the Crown Prince Couple’s Awards for 2020.
The couple, who have been married for 16 years, looked as loved up as ever, beaming widely at the cameras and looking ever the glamorous couple we know them to be.
Bring on more appearances, we say.
