While Australia might be wrapping up against a red and orange-hued autumn, Princess Beatrice is springing ahead wearing one of the biggest trends to come from warmer, summery days.
The British royal released a video from inside her London home, which she shares with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and in the candid clip, she’s wearing a style many of her fellows in the UK will also be rocking come May, June and July.
In the video released on Monday, Beatrice shared a story for Children’s Book Day. The colourful book’s narrative centres around dyslexic thinking.
It’s a topic very close to her heart – now an ambassador for charity Made By Dyslexia, Beatrice herself suffered from the condition growing up.
“[It] was a bit of a struggle at school but now thanks to all the practice and a lot of support, I feel so lucky to be Made By Dyslexia and working with some incredible organisations, who are there to support you on your journey to find out what your superpower is,” she said in the clip.
For the video, Beatrice wore a gorgeous gingham print shirt which featured a collar and billowy puff sleeves.
The style is one that’s made a big resurgence in recent years, and is a perfect pick either for smart or casual wear.
The Princess wore her hair in an effortless low ponytail.
It was also a treat to get a quick insight into Beatrice’s London home.
In the video, she is seen sitting in front of a set of tall wardrobe doors.
The houses white and olive green colour palette looks fresh and modern, in that classic London way.
While Beatrice’s spring-summer style mightn’t be what we’re looking to as the weather gets cooler in Australia, we’re still forever on the hunt for some chic puff-sleeve outfits that can be worn any time of year.
