Ciao bella! Michelle Obama sizzles in stunning Italian gown for last state dinner

The First Lady fittingly chose a shimmery rose gold Atelier Versace number for her state dinner with the Prime Minister of Italy and his wife.

Choosing an Italian designer was a smart move for First Lady Michelle Obama – not only politically speaking as they were hosting the Italian PM Matteo Renzi and his wife, Agnese Landini., but also from a style point of view. Michelle looked nothing short of bellissima in the Atelier Versace gown.

The chainmail gown features an asymmetrical neckline and flattering draped details at the bodice. The FLOTUS wore her hair sleek, shiny and straightened to add to the classy look. The President himself, also looked suave – we’ll say it again, what a striking couple.

The praise for Michelle’s look is flooding in from fashion types and the public. Once again everyone is loving her look.

  • “I am overwhelmed with emotion over #FLOTUS in rose gold, chainmail @versace, y’all”

  • “Michelle Obama Has a Goddess Fashion Moment at the State Dinner.”

  • “Michelle Obama’s Versace dress is giving me life today. This is how you slay.”

The First Lady of Italy also looked pretty gorgeous – and we’re still trying to find out who she was wearing – but it’s a hard gig having to stand next to Michelle Obama when she’s having a goddess moment.

About 400 guests—including Giorgio Armani, Jerry and Jessica Seinfeld, John Turturro, and Gap CEO Art Peck were expected to attend the four-course meal which was served inside a tent situated on the White House’s South Lawn. The evening boasted a star-studded and varied entertainment line-up ranging from Gwen Stefani and Chance the Rapper to James Taylor.
