The doe-eyed 16-year-old joins the ranks as one of Karl Lagerfeld’s muses, and it’s a noble honour indeed with the likes of Linda Evangelista, Keira Knightley and Cara Delevingne paving the way before her.
Speaking about the talented teen, Chanel creative director Karl explained in an official press release: “Lily-Rose is stunning, she’s a young girl from a new generation with all the qualities of a star.”
Earlier in the month, the French-born beauty and her mother walked the runway at Mr Lagerfeld’s Chanel Haute Couture show in Paris.
And now the angelic rising star is the face of Chanel Eyewear for the Fall/Winter 2015-2016 campaign.
While the official campaign doesn’t launch until September, a short teaser shows Lily-Rose Depp working her angles in retro oval shades, tousled hair and a deep red lip.
She finishes off her mod-inspired look in an embellished floral dress.
In the Nineties Lily-Rose’s mother Vanessa Paradis, who has a long-standing friendship with Karl, was a brand ambassador for Chanel and the face of the Girl Chanel handbag.
Talent clearly runs in this family!
