Kate had been going to Chelsea hairstylist James Pryce for the past five years. He has styled her hair for countless important events, including her wedding to Prince William in 2011.

James also travelled to Canada and the US with the Duchess in 2011 to style her hair throughout her first foreign tour.

James recently broke away from Richard Ward Salon – where he made his name – to go it alone but the UK’s Telegraph reports Kate has not followed him.

“Richard Ward is still cutting Kate’s hair and she has her colour done at the salon,” a salon employee told the newspaper.

“Plus, she has stylist Amanda Cook Tucker to blow dry her hair for events. James has been pushed out.”

James reportedly fell from favour after he posted hundreds of pictures of Kate’s hair online without permission from the palace.

“He launched a Facebook page and Twitter account which featured hundreds of pictures of Kate and her various hairstyles to promote his business,” the source said.

“Obviously, that did not go down too well with the Palace at all.”
