Julie Bishop has never been shy of a glitzy outfit or two, but her latest might just take the cake.
Over the weekend, the 64-year-old took part in the 2020 Telethon festivities, and true to form, she hook, lined and sunk the feat of dressing the part with one very glamorous dress.
Channel Seven went ahead with its annual telethon on Saturday, inviting a stellar lineup of Aussie celebs who took part in the charity fundraiser.
And while everyone was dressed well, there was one dress in particular that stood out beyond any – not least for the simple fact it literally glittered.
The formidable Julie Bishop looked chic as ever in a long pink gown featuring lengthy sleeves, a bejewelled bodice and a skirt lined with light dusty pink feathers.
“Ready for the Ball,” the former foreign minister wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of herself with several other ball attendees.
A brief glance at the comments section reflected just how stunning her dress was.
“Looking amazing as always,” wrote one admirer.
Another simply added: “Your dress is👌.”
This isn’t the first time Julie has rocked pink of late.
Earlier this month, she wore what can only be described as her most stunning dress to date as she dressed up for a special cause.
In a photoshoot with the West Australian, Julie shared a series of snaps from the day featuring the most incredibly beautiful bright pink dress.
As explained in the accompanying article, the dress in question was worn as Australia marks Frocktober, a fundraising drive for ovarian cancer research by OCRF Australia.
