Michael Lo Sordo – Innovative and luxurious – Michael’s designs represent everything that is really exciting about Australian fashion right now.
Michael and I are fashion school alumni, so to watch his brand go from strength to strength and be so well received locally and internationally is so great to see.
Toni Maticevski – Toni’s shows are always exquisite, every details from the set to the composed music and the carefully curated styling.
Last year’s finale was breath-taking Maticevski sent models with a single orchid in her mouth through the a more elaborate orchid head piece as they progressed. I can’t wait to see what he does this year.
Jayson Brunsdon – Jayson’s designs are a perfect blend of chic sophistication while still retaining that imaginative and playful femininity. This year Jayson is showcase his first men’s collection. It is fitting that in the 20th anniversary or MBFWA Jayson is still reinventing the Jayson Brunsdon brand.

Bianca Spender – You can tell Bianca’s collections are meticulously conceived – there’s artistry in the tailoring and you really get a sense of whatever has inspired her collection.
Bianca often looks to nature for inspiration and really tells a story with her collections.
Lee Mathews – Lee Mathew’s clothes are fashionable and wearable. It has been quite a few years since Lee has done a show so I am excited to see her taking the stage.
Lee’s designs are cool, and her fabrics impeccable, this will be a must see show for me.
