Her frocks usually send the fashion set into raptures of delight but Cate Blanchett was squarely on the worst-dressed list last night after donning a dress described by critics as an “unflattering lopsided spider web”.
Cate, 44, was in Paris to attend the premiere of her new film Blue Jasmine when she made the rare sartorial slip-up.
