The music industry’s biggest stars hit the red carpet at the 56th Grammy Awards on Sunday, and as usual, there were plenty of looks that rocked and frocks that shocked on display.
While the show may be centred around celebrating music there is no denying that fashion plays a pivotal role for the performers who are dressed to impress on the night … and boy did some of these musical maidens dazzle!
Beyoncé was her standard bootylicious self in a show-stopping sheer gown while Katy Perry hit all the right notes in a whimsical Valentino Haute Couture creation. Taylor Swift was also on trend in a metallic chain mail frock which flattered her slender figure.
Among the fashion hits, there were of course misses. Madonna’s flared tuxedo and top hat ensemble, which came complete with a walking cane, was less than tasteful but we did love the fingerless diamond studded gloves.
