Australian Fashion Week – Friday highlights

Jayson Brunsdon kicked off the final day of Rosemount Australian Fashion Week with style. His 2009 resort wear collection was shown with a glorious sparkling Sydney Harbour as its runway backdrop.

The collection employed strong silhouettes, flowing duchess satins, fabric manipulation, and subtle artistic prints.

Brunsdon inspired by Italian film director Federico Fellini and the women in his films, saw models don roman, clerical and classical derived looks in hues of ivory and beige.

The show follows the recent acquisition of Jayson’s most recent stand alone store, having just opened its doors on Singapore’s prestigious Orchard Road this week.

The perfect crystal clear blue skies gave a special spark to the Brunsdon show to kick off the final day of Australian Fashion Week.
