Amish beauty becomes lingerie model

She spent the first 21 years of her life living in one of the world's most conservative communities – now Amish beauty Kate Stoltz has found freedom and a modelling contract.

She spent the first 21 years of her life living in one of the world’s most conservative communities – now Amish beauty Kate Stoltz has found freedom and a modelling contract.

Kate left her insular Amish hometown in Pennsylvania in 2012 and moved to New York to film reality show Breaking Amish.

It was an eye-opening experience and one that Kate couldn’t forget – she never returned to her family’s traditional way of life, instead choosing to forge her own career as a model.

Two years later her dreams have finally come true, with Kate winning a contract with Major Model Management and shooting her first ever lingerie campaign.

Kate Stoltz has swapped her ultra-conservative Amish upbringing for the glamorous lifestyle of a New York model.

Kate, 23, has cast off the repressive traditions she was raised with and forged a new life for herself in New York.

Kate has won a coveted contract with Major Model Management.

Kate says her confidence has blossomed since she left her Amish community.

Kate made her catwalk debut at New York Fashion Week earlier this month.

Kate left her Amish community for a reality show in 2012 and has never looked back.

Unlike others who have left the Amish community, Kate still see her parents twice a month.

Kate says her conservative parents are not comfortable with her new career.

Kate’s first amateur modelling job was for men’s magazine Maxim last year.
