After an intense two-night grand finale, Perth mother-of-one Snezana Markoski has been crowned the winner of Sam Wood’s heart.
“I’ve never been more sure of anything that Snezana is the woman for me,” an overjoyed Sam beamed.
“My heart skips a beat every time I see you. I just feel so, so lucky that this crazy adventure has brought us together. Every date that we’ve been on my feelings have gotten stronger.”
“You are the first girl that I met, and you are the last girl that I want to be with because I’ve fallen madly in love with you… I love you so much. It feels so good to tell you. It really does. I’ve never felt like this about anyone in my life before.”
“You make me a better man. I want to spoil you and look after you forever. And I know it means looking after Eve,” a very relieved Bachelor explained to his new partner.
A clearly overwhelmed Sam then gifted Snezana with a chunky gold commitment band from Zamel’s. The thoughtful star also made sure Eve wasn’t forgotten and had a beautiful necklace on hand to pass onto her.
It comes after a whirlwind round of dates, which saw both ladies, including runner-up Lana, meet Sam’s family in his hometown of Tasmania before getting a final one-on-one session with the man of the moment.
During her last evening with the handsome reality star, Snezana came clean about her feelings with a brave admission of love.
“I just want you to know that I have fallen in love with you. It’s hard for me to say that because I could get hurt,” she confessed.
“It’s a beautiful thing to hear you say,” Sam replied, before leaning in for a long and passionate kiss.
At the home visits, Snezana was just as honest about where she stood. “I definitely see a future with Sam. I definitely want more kids,” she confided to Sam’s father, who was a huge fan of the 34-year-old beauty.
Sam and Snez’s connection was clear from the start. “You cover everything I’m looking for in a man and I’ve enjoyed every second,” the scientific sales rep previously told Woman’s Day about the personal trainer.
While Sam admits he never expected to fall for a single mother, he’s very much looking forward to starting a life with Snezana and her nine-year-old daughter, Eve.
“My whole world has been flipped upside down. I feel really confident about my final decision – and it wasn’t one I took lightly. I wouldn’t change it for anything in the world. I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat,” a smitten Sam gushed to us ahead of the big reveal.
Meanwhile, Sydney-based beauty Lana Jeavons-Fellows was graceful in her defeat and had nothing but praise for the entire experience.
But that wasn’t before a harrowing curve ball was thrown her way.
What a couple! The pair both made declarations of love in the finale.
“I really do feel like you’re the perfect girl. I just don’t know if you’re the perfect girl for me. My heart has taken me in another direction,” Sam explained as he broke up with 27-year-old Lana, who was a firm favourite to win the series despite being an intruder.
“Thank you for everything. It’s been a fun and crazy adventure,” the media assistant promised, before wandering off into the garden to quietly weep.
“I’m feeling a little bit numb. And heartbroken. I did develop genuine feelings for the guy,” she added.
But Sam insisted he had followed his heart and was thrilled with his final choice.
