The wait is almost over!

Fans of the Aussie drama Wonderland will only have to wait a little bit longer before it returns to the small screen, and the wait will definitely be worth it!

In the exciting second season, the show gets a new cast member in the form of the sexy and stunning Megan Gale.

While her role is a mystery for now, we’re told the model was an “absolute natural” in front of the cameras.

Jessica Tovey who plays Dani Varvaris on the show told Woman’s Day that although she wasn’t lucky enough to star alongside the gorgeous new-mum, the boys on set  were “very excited” about it.

“All the boys were very excited about getting to shoot that stuff with her as you would be,” Jess said.

“I heard she was great from the crew, they were like ‘she’s an absolute natural’.

Meanwhile, a very enthusiastic Michael Dorman who plays the clever and charming Tom Wilcox, said it was great having Megan on set and didn’t exactly refute the possibility of the pair sharing in an onscreen romance.

“I don’t know if anything will happen there. We’ll see, I mean anything is possible in Wonderland,” he said.

“I’ve sort of known Megan for a little while and we’ve done bits and pieces before but now we’re actually working together.

“I think for her as well coming onto a set that’s been up and running for a while, you always feel kind of out of place when you arrive and it’s sort of like everyone is a big family. It’s like you’re going to meet your boyfriend’s family or you know what I mean, so for her to have someone she kind of knew already, made her feel a bit more comfortable. I Love working with her, she’s great.”

Also joining the growing cast is award-winning actor Martin Sacks, known for his 12-year role on the Aussie police drama series Blue Heelers.

Starring the gorgeous Brooke Satchwell, the Channel Ten romantic-comedy is anticipated to capture the nation’s attention with its gripping new storyline and new faces.

Set in a beach-side apartment and filmed in various locations around Sydney, cast members say fans can expect to see more drama unfold this season when characters are forced to face the reality of their relationships.

“The world of Wonderland expands,” Jess said.

“The more we’ve all gotten to know each other off screen the closer we’ve become and that really translates on screen. So there’s a real sense of friendship.”
