Channeling her best ’90s Rachel, Vanessa chatted to the segment’s host, Colin Jost, on why sitcom revivals are making a comeback.

“Oh Colin. Yeah, hi. Oh. Oh, yeah, um, I’m uh, you know, good! Oh yeah, you know, the ‘90s are great,” she said, mimicking Rachel’s infamous voice.

“You go to work, you go on dates, you go to cafes with friends and you all sit facing camera. Yeah!”

Surprising everyone, Jennifer Aniston rolled in and joined the news desk.

“Vanessa, what are you doing? Can you just drop that for a second. Vanessa, Vanessa, come on!”

She continued, “Listen, honey, I know you love Friends, and we had such a great time making a movie together, but you gotta really try to stop texting me every day.”

“Friends was like, five million and five years ago, so I think we’ve just got to move on,” she added to the comedy star.

We think Vanessa’s a pretty spot on Rachel!

Vanessa tried to defend herself saying it’s “a great bit,” but Justin Theroux’s Mrs wasn’t having a bar of it.

“Is it a great bit though? It kind of just sounds like all you’re doing is like, ‘What? Oh? Wow? Oh me? No!'” she joked, parodying Vanessa’s parody of Rachel.

Jen’s little visit was all in good fun, with the actress and SNL star being real life friends after working on their new flick, Office Christmas Party.
