Karise Eden looked smitten with her new son Blayden when she stepped out at Adelaide airport recently. The Voice season one winner kept things casual in a grey knitted jumper, skinny black jeans and a chunky cream scarf as she cradled her adorable bub.

Speaking to Woman’s Day about her gorgeous child, the talented singer explained she’s relishing motherhood: “I’m loving it. He’s a pretty chilled kid so I can’t complain! It’s definitely changed my priorities but in a good way.”

Karise, who looks fantastic six-months after giving birth, also revealed becoming a mother has shaped her song writing, “there’s definitely a new perspective in my lyrics. He seems to like me belting songs around the house which is lucky.”

Karise is gearing up for her national tour in June off the back of her new album Things I’ve Done. “The album’s full of songs talking about my life and past experiences,” the star mused of her latest musical offering.

A slimmed down Karise Eden was spotted at Adelaide Airport recently with her six-month-old bub Blayden.

The Voice season one champ worked a casual off-duty look in a grey jumper and chunky scarf.

“I’m loving it [motherhood]. He’s a pretty chilled kid so I can’t complain! It’s definitely changed my priorities but in a good way,” Karise told Woman’s Day of her son.

Karise and baby Blayden wandered through the airport with one of the mum-of-one’s band members.

“There’s definitely a new perspective in my lyrics. He seems to like me belting songs around the house which is lucky,” the star revealed.
