Former Home and Away star and mum-of-three, Bec Hewitt, has revealed she is keen to make her comeback to the small screen after a decade long absence.
The 31-year-old, who took a ten year hiatus from acting to be full-time mum and wife to Lleyton Hewitt, is finally ready to put herself first again now that her husband’s tennis career is starting to slowdown.
Chatting to the Daily Telegraph, the stunning blonde said she was definitely “open to it.”
“I would love to get back into acting,” Bec said.
“Over the past ten years I guess it’s been a bit difficult as we haven’t been in one place at one time.
“Also I’ve either been pregnant or breastfeeding, but now my kids are a little bit older it will be easier.”
Bec and Lleyton currently live in the Bahamas’ with their adorable children Mia, 8, Cruz, 5, and 3-year-old Ava.
As reported in Woman’s Day back in June, Bec who played the character of Hayley Smith on the popular Aussie drama for seven years, has never shied away from the possibly of returning to television.
In fact, we understand she’s spent the past few months secretly negotiating a return to Summer Bay.
Adding further fuel to rumours of a Home and Away comeback, Bec told the Daily Mail earlier this week that she wouldn’t say no if the opportunity arises.
“I’m so grateful what they [Home and Away] did for me, I had such a great time there. If it was Irene’s 50th birthday party or something, then sure I would come on back.”
