In partnership with Airbnb and BBC Studios, one property on a colourful street in Brisbane has been completely transformed into the famous Heeler home where six-year-old Bluey, her little sister Bingo, Mum Chilli and Dad Bandit enjoy endless adventures together.

“Like many parents with young children, I’ve been captivated by the adventures of Bluey and her family, which bring so much joy and quintessential Aussie humour
to audiences across the globe,” Susan Wheeldon, Airbnb ANZ Country Manager, tells TV WEEK.

“My favourite place in the house would have to be the playroom.”

From the iconic red letterbox in the front garden to Granny’s car and toadstool seats in the back yard – and the colourful world of Bluey and Bingo’s bedrooms inside – there’s plenty of fun to be had for the whole family. Plus, there’s always time for a game of Keepy Uppy.

“The Heeler home has been almost two years in the making,” Susan says of creating the Bluey experience.

“We’ve been fortunate enough to work alongside a talented team of designers, builders and local craftspeople, who have meticulously recreated all the key elements of Bluey’s world in a really authentic way.”

While no pets are allowed – especially emus named Shaun – there are some animals friends on hand for a few photos, including Bob Bilby.

Speaking of animals, if you look inside the fridge, you may find Bandit’s famous duck cake (which was inspired by The Australian Women’s Weekly Children’s Birthday Cake Book). And there’s always room for a Chinese takeaway feast!
