The stunning fireworks will kick off from 9pm for 15-minutes over beautiful Sydney Harbour. The best vantage points are anywhere by the water, including First Fleet Park, Hickson Road Reserve, Circular Quay East, the Overseas Passenger Terminal and Sydney Opera House.

Melbourne

Docklands Harbour will host Melbourne’s fabulous fireworks display, as the sparks are released from barges along the harbour at 9pm.

If you happen to be at the Australian Open on January 26th, you’ll be treated to an extra show in the Women’s Single Final and later on, the Mixed Doubles Final.

Because there is no Daylight Savings in Queensland, the sun sets a little earlier than the rest of the country.

That means the fireworks will go off at 7.30pm over South Bank. caps the night off early, sending its light display into the night at South Bank by 7:30pm, and a second display on Bribie Island and in Redcliffe, both at 8pm.

Lake Burley Griffin will light up at 9pm with fireworks over Commonwealth Avenue Bridge at 9pm.

The fireworks will be launched from Pinky Flat and the River Torrens at 9.30pm. Find yourself a spot along the River Torrens –

there are two vantage points there that offer the best views.

Perth is doing things a little earlier, with the fireworks kicking off at 8pm. Grab a spot along the Swan River for the best vantage point of the stunning display.
