We’re all guilty of wearing our shoes indoors but experts have said you should impose a “no shoes allowed” policy, STAT!
A study from the University of Arizona found bacteria from poo was detected on the bottoms of 96 per cent of shoes.
On average, a total of 421, 000 different bacterias were found on shoes.
“We walk through things like bird droppings, dog waste and germs on public restroom floors, all of which are sources for E coli,” said Professor at the University of Arizona, Kelly Reynolds.
“Think about rain water in the street. It can have gasoline in it and chemicals, and those get on your shoes and can be brought into your home.”
If you don’t want that in your house, it might be time to ban shoes indoors!
