Bachelor favourite Sam Wood has heaped praise on his “super-mum” wife Snezana after she eased back into exercising 10 weeks after welcoming their third child together.
Sam took to Instagram on Tuesday to share Snez’s first workout session since giving birth to baby Harper on May 4.
“First session back since little Harper was born,” Sam said as he filmed Snez exercising in their home gym.
“Say ‘go mumma’,” Sam added, as he held little Harper in his arms.
Sam, a qualified personal trainer, captioned the videos: “First workout done. So proud of you. Strongest woman I know.”
The 42-year-old, who met Snez on The Bachelor in 2015, then shared a video of the mother-of-four crawling up the stairs in pain from her workout.
“I’ve got jelly legs!” Snez laughed.
Sam later gave an insight into Snez’s new postnatal workout routine, saying she’s easing back into exercise slowly.
“This is Snez’s first warm up set back. We’re not about bouncing back or nay c–p like that,” he told his followers.
“Snez only had harper nine and a bit weeks ago and it was a really hard pregnancy with everyone getting sick, but I want to share it because I think you we draw inspiration from it.”
Snez then took to her own Instagram account to admit her first session back in the gym wasn’t easy.
“I have started my training again. It was definitely challenging this morning. I really struggled. I couldn’t even do one push up off a bench and then I struggled to walk up the stairs. That just goes to show where I’m starting,” she said.
It has been a trying time for the Wood family after Harper arrived four weeks premature on May 4. The newborn, which is Snez and Sam’s third child together, caught an infection during her birth and was subsequently hospitalised for weeks.
Then in mid-June, Harper was briefly hospitalised again after she caught an ear infection from her sisters Willow, four, and Charlie, three.
Sam and Snez also share 17-year-old daughter Eve, who is from Snez’s previous marriage.
