Pink responds to body shaming bullies: “I feel beautiful!”

Singer Pink has hit back at comments she looks ‘chunky’ after stepping out at a cancer benefit red carpet event.

The 35-year-old was ridiculed for her new curvy look by twitter bullies who took aim at her apparent recent weight gain.

While the star says the dress she chose “didn’t photograph as well as it did in my kitchen,” she says the comments about her weight were completely out of line and that her strong body is enjoying some much needed time off.

“I can see that some of you are concerned about me from your comments about my weight,” she wrote on twitter.

“You’re referring to the pictures of me from last night’s cancer benefit that I attended to support my dear friend Dr. Maggie DiNome. She was given the Duke Award for her tireless efforts and stellar contributions to the eradication of cancer.

“But unfortunately, my weight seems much more important to some of you. While I admit that the dress didn’t photograph as well as it did in my kitchen, I will also admit that I felt very pretty. In fact, I feel beautiful.”

“So, my good and concerned peoples, please don’t worry about me.

Meanwhile, Pink says her husband Carey Herat loves her new body and tells her “it’s just more to love baby”.

Pink’s fans have also come out In support of her praising the singer for her positive body image and body confidence.
