If stress reduction and improved flexibility isn’t enough to make you take up yoga here’s another reason: it could send your libido through the roof.
According to a study published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, regular yoga practise also enhances your sex life.
The study, of 40 women aged 22 to 55, found that performing particular asanas (poses) for a 12-week period resulted in measurable improvements in desire, arousal, orgasm and sexual satisfaction.

The poses — trikonasana (triangle pose), bhujangasana (the snake) and ardha matsyendra mudra (half spinal twist) — are all thought to help by strengthening pelvic muscle tone and improving blood flow to the genitals as well as boosting self-confidence and increasing relaxation.
