As anyone who has ever been on a weight-loss journey will tell you, there’s no such thing as a one-size-fits-all program: what works for one person may do little-to-nothing for another.
And it makes sense given our different lifestyles, metabolisms and ages (and whether we’re a sweet tooth or a cheese ‘n’ crackers kind of person) that we don’t all respond to weight-loss programs the same way.
Now, WW (the new Weight Watchers) has launched a new program that comprises of three customised weight-loss plans called myWW™. New members are given a personal assessment, and then matched to the plan they are best suited to, taking into consideration their food preferences, activity levels, approach to weight loss and lifestyle.
WW has always been ahead of the curve when it comes to personalised weight-loss programs (offering SmartPoints® budgets based on age, weight, height and sex) but their latest program innovation, myWW promises greater customisation, meaning even more freedom and flexibility for your weight loss journey.
Plus, myWW comes with the bonus of being able to consume a custom list of up to 300+ ZeroPoint foods (foods considered nutrient-rich, more filling and less likely to be overeaten) without having to track them. Win.
Which plan is right for you?
After you unlock your personal assessment and your answers are received, you’ll get matched with a plan that guides you toward food choices that best fit with your lifestyle and eating habits. Each plan also provides customised recipes, content and activity recommendations. All you have to do is download the award-winning WW app to get started.
Green gives you a sizeable SmartPoints® Budget to spend on any food or drink you choose (hello, wine) as well as over 100 ZeroPoint foods including most fruit and vegies.
Blue gives you a moderate SmartPoints budget and access to over 200 ZeroPoint foods such as skinless chicken breast, 99% fat-free plain Greek yoghurt, salmon and eggs.
Purple gives you a smaller SmartPoints budget, but you’ll have access to more than 300 ZeroPoint foods which include wholemeal pasta, sweet potato and popcorn. Yes, you can eat pasta and lose weight.
