When life’s throws you a curveball – and not just any curveball, but cancer for the second time – it’s important to find happiness in the smaller things…
And it seems Olivia Newton John is doing just that.
Taking to social media, her daughter Chloe Lattanzi , 31, posted a video of her mum watching a group of adorable kittens playing.
As reported by The Daily Telegraph, Chloe captioned the video:
“My mamma just sent me this.”
“She’s doing great! At a healing centre with lots of wild kittens! Just wanted to let you all know how well she’s doing. I love you guys. We love you!,’ she wrote.
This comes just two months after the iconic singer-slash-actress revealed she was battling breast cancer for the second time, and that the cancer had mestasised to her sacrum.
At the time of her diagnosis, 25 years after first being struck with the illness, Olivia, 68, spoke with PEOPLE, revealing that she’s determined to stay positive in the face of adversity.
“I am really grateful for and touched by the worldwide outpouring of love and concern. Thank you. I am feeling good and enjoying total support from my family and friends, along with a team of wellness and medical practitioners both here in the U.S. and at my Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre in Melbourne, Australia,” the singer said in a statement.
“I’m totally confident that my new journey will have a positive success story to inspire others! Love and light, Olivia.”
