After a holiday season no doubt spent toasting champagne and bingeing on leftover ham like the rest of us, Kate Hudson has set herself the task of “getting back on track” in 10 days.
Since revealing her New Year’s resolution, the Fools Gold star has taken to Instagram with regular uploads of her fit-scapades, which includes long walks with her dog Cody, cycling and, perhaps more impressively, pole-dancing.
In an artsy clip posted to her social media account on Friday night, the 37-year-old shows off some serious skills to the soundtrack of Ed Sheeran’s new release, Shape of You.
Dressed head-to-toe in her Fabletics athleisure line, Brad Pitt’s rumoured flame twirls effortlessly around the apparatus, displaying her incredible core strength, flexibility and grace.

In addition to that, Kate is also taking advantage of LA’s many hiking trails, even recruiting famous friends to join her – rain, hail or shine!
Fashion designer and long-time pal Nicole Richie last week tagged along with the blonde beauty as she tackled Day 5 of her fit commitments.
“When you’re on Day 1 but you wanna fit in. #resolutions #Jan5,” Nicole jokingly captioned beside a candid video of the besties on their journey.
While she is known to embrace many different methods of exercise, Kate has previously spoken out about the one she keeps coming back to.
In a 2016 interview with Shape magazine, the mother-of-two revealed that Pilates gives her body the best result.
“I was 19 when I discovered Pilates, and I’m still doing it,” she said.
“It’s the workout my body really responds to. It’s all about alignment, elongating your spine and strengthening your core. It makes me feel my strongest. Pilates is always challenging. The advanced moves are amazing, but so hard.”
Speaking of how she motivates herself to work out despite an incredibly demanding schedule, the Bride Wars star confessed that her mood is largely responsible for determining type of workout performed.
“When I exercise, I need to connect to myself and see how I’m feeling at the moment, because my mood is constantly changing.
“Sometimes I just need to do aggressive routines, like boxing. Some people need structure and a regimen, but I’m not a planner.”
But don’t be fooled by her vigorous workout routine; Kate is all about balance, particularly when it comes to her love of food.
“I absolutely believe in enjoying my food, especially when I travel. I don’t eat a lot of meat when I’m home, but I can’t be in Germany and not eat the bratwurst. I just love it so much.”
“I don’t really do diets. I know food, I’ve learned about food. When I start to see myself slipping a little bit and you can see it, I go back to my protein shakes and my salads and it makes me feel better!”
