Kate Hudson has covered Shape magazine this month and opened up about how she keeps fit and healthy. The actress attributes her toned physique to amping up her exercise routine with “aggressive” workouts such as boxing and maintaining a balanced lifestyle.
Diets? She’s not a believer.
“I hate the idea,” the star says. “It puts so much pressure on people to lose weight quickly. Getting healthy is not a two-week process, it’s a change of life-style.”
The actress has spoken previously about how she works for her lean physique, telling reporters at an event,
“You [have to] work your ass off. That is the only way.”
So what’s her approach to eating well?
Hudson shared an anecdote with the magazine about how when she was in her favourite restaurant in Paris eating all her favourite foods – steak, fries, wine and was about to tuck into dessert when a svelte and stylish woman approached her table.
She pointed to my glass of wine. ‘This is your piece of cake. That’s how you should be thinking.’ And I always try to remember that: Everything in moderation!”
While we think the woman was trés intrusive, everything in moderation is definitely a life motto to swear by.
