She’s used to starring in top rating TV shows, walking red carpets and dressing in haute couture, but even Jennifer Love Hewitt gets caught off guard.
After welcoming her second child Atticus in June, the 36-year-old headed out for her first meeting since the birth and had an experience so many mums can relate to… lactating through your clothes.
The Ghost Whisperer star thankfully found the humour in the situation, writing to her thousands of Twitter followers: “Ventured out for first business lunch since baby boy arrived…”
Before adding: “Lactated through silk jumpsuit mid meeting. Had to buy scarf for dignified exit. #hotelgiftshop #mommylife.”
The Criminal Minds accompanied the post with a selfie, featuring the strategically placed scarf. It didn’t take long for the love from fans to flow in thick and fast, praising the actress for keeping it real.
Jen didn’t mind poking fun at her situation.
Despite these hiccups, Jen loves being a mum and the addition of baby Atticus to her family marks the star’s second child to husband Brian Hallisay.
The pair welcomed daughter Autumn Hallisay back in 2013.
In this year’s May issue of American Baby the doting mum revealed just how much she loves being pregnant, “Pregnancy is magical. I’m grateful.”
“Because so many of us are busy or driven, we forget to take care of ourselves. But when you’re pregnant, it’s all about you – and that baby inside of you,” she added.
“Enjoy a nap; for some reason our generation thinks we can’t do that! Really listen to your body. I hope to continue to be a little kinder to myself after pregnancy.”
