Jennifer Aniston is seriously goals.
The 50-year-old is at the top of her game career-wise, is about to star in a hit new film The Morning Show, alongside Reese Witherspoon and Steve Carrell, she just joined Instagram a week ago and already has a cool 16 million followers, plus she manages to always look incredible.
So, how does she do it?
Well, Jen has just given her fans an insight into just how she maintains her insanely fit body โ and weโre not gonna lie, itโs a lot of work.

While she sticks to a healthy diet, thereโs also a strict eating habit Jen adheres to that she credits for helping her look and feel her best.
โI do intermittent fasting, so thereโs no food in the morning,โ she told the UKโs Radio Times this week.
โI noticed a big difference in going without solid food for 16 hours.โ
And sheโs also into a big wellness trend thatโs been going off this year โ drinking celery juice.
โToday, I woke up and had a celery juice,โ she said.
โThen I started to brew some coffee, but I donโt drink coffee that early.โ
Fans of celery juice say the drink aids digestion, but heath experts warn there is no scientific evidence to support the benefits of the trendy habit.

Jen works out most days of the week and does a mix of gym classes, weights and resistance exercises with her trainer, as well as cardio sessions.
โI go in and out of [certain exercises]. I do The Class by Taryn Toomey, and Iโm back in the gym with my trainer, throwing heavy boulders around and pushing medicine balls and wiggling and shaking that big rope thing โ battle ropes,โ she told Vogue in 2017.
โYes! Theyโre hard! But itโs fun. I started doing that when I was filming Weโre the Millers and I really liked it. It kicks your butt, though, so I dip in and out of that throughout the year. And then I do 45 mins of intervals on my elliptical. I raise the incline, run for two mins, walk for one, run for two. . . and I do it for 20 minutes straight until Iโm just drenched.โ

(Credit: Getty)Jenโs personal trainer Leyon Azubuike uses a training technique called โperiodisationโ, which allows him to adjust workouts based on his clientโs schedule.
โDepending on where we are in that cycle dictates the duration and intensity of Jenโs workout,โ Leyon told Womenโs Health.
โIf I know Jen isnโt filming anything, itโs a different phase than if I know she has something coming up tomorrow. If sheโs going to be walking up to receive an award, Iโm not going to destroy her legs in the gym the day before.โ
As for the types of exercises they do, itโs all about getting fit and strong.
โWe box, we jump rope, we do strength training, we do a lot of work with resistance bands โฆ weโre big on resistance bands,โ says Leyon.
โWe rotate these things so itโs always hard, sheโs consistently being challenged. Iโm a big fan of switching things up, so the body reacts in a positive way and changes.
โEvery core exercise I throw at her, she dominates it. She can hold a two- or three-minute plank rather easily.โ
When it comes to diet, Leyon recommends โavocados, coconut oil, salmon, fish oil โฆ anything thatโs a good form of fat is great.โ

But Jen isnโt afraid to let her body rest when it needs to
When you work out as much as Jen does, itโs important to ensure your body has time to rest and recuperate after intense exercise.
โOf course I take days off. Itโs important to rest the body,โ Jen said.
And sheโs also not afraid to take long breaks.
โI can go a whole week saying, โIโm not going to work outโ. Your body will tell you what it needs,โ she said.
โItโs hard work, you know. You work out, you just take care of yourself and you exercise.โ
But while she looks amazing, Jen says her main motivation for sticking to her strict regimen is because she always wants to feel her best.
โI feel really beautiful when I finish a great workout. You eat right, you sleep, youโre happy,โ she said.
โBecause Iโve taken care of my body, my endorphins are going, my blood is pumping. Iโm taking care of the one body I have.โ
