Even the critters and tucker trials can’t dampen her spirits.
And it’s all thanks to finding happiness with her fiance, Elvis tribute artist Mark Tabone.
“Mark loves me how I am. If I do criticise myself, he says, ‘Babe, stop worrying, you look beautiful.’ He’s taught me to be much calmer and less reactive,” she reveals.
Former Olympian Lisa, 54, says she’s always felt the pressure to be slim – but has grown to accept it’s OK to be happy and healthy rather than super-fit.
“I’ve spent my life comparing my current self to my Olympic physique, but now I realise that’s pointless,” she says.
“I accidentally dropped and smashed my scales before Christmas, and I’m not replacing them – it’s so empowering!”
But it’s not just ditching the scales and finding love with her hubby-to-be that’s helped Lisa feel more confident.
The fitness entrepreneur reveals she’s been following her own 10-week KiSS well-being program along with her daughter Morgan, 26, in the run-up to her wedding.
Her program, which includes daily meal plans, exercises you can do at home and motivational videos from Lisa, has not only changed the former Olympian’s life, but also her finace’s life!
