It’s not uncommon for women to experience pain during sex.
But did you know, it could be because of things you’re doing away from the bedroom?
Pain during sex – also known as dyspareunia – can be caused by simple things like a spin class.
Here’s how to tackle those twinges:
Spin class
If your seat is too narrow or you’re leaning forward on your bike, you could be putting too much pressure on your labia and vagina. Swapping it for a wider seat or simply wearing padded shorts can be enough to stop it.
Shaving
If you’re guilty of using a blunt razor on your genital skin, it can become further inflamed by friction during sex. Trimming the hairs to neaten things up will help alleviate the pain.
Super-tight jeans
If your jeans are too tight or, your underwear is rubbing your genital area, it can lead to discomfort during intercourse. It might be best to avoid sex until it heals.
