She’s come a long way since Kyle Sandilands criticised her weight and told her to ‘lose the jelly belly’ on Australian Idol in 2006 – and now it seems the shock jock can eat his words because Jessica Mauboy is sizzling!
‘I look back to when I was 16 and I remember feeling very heavy on Idol,’ she says, revealing that music and being in the public eye was a big part of why she turned her life around. ‘I think my music really boosted me. I just want to be healthy and I want to love myself.’ Going from a size 12 to an eight, the 25-year-old Aussie singer reveals her daily ‘clean diet of protein and vegetables’ that got her in shape.
