Just when you think the life of ‘Human Ken Doll‘ Brazilian-born Rodrigo Alves, 34, couldn’t get any weirder…it does. But should we really be surprised? We are talking about a man who became famous for spending more than $597,000 on 60 cosmetic surgeries (not to mention the hundreds of procedures) to look like a real-life, plastic-fantastic Ken doll.
So what could possibly be next for Alves? Ken wants to become Barbie. Speaking on an Italian TV show Alves confessed: “One day when I’m older, I may have a sex change and become a Barbie.”
Alves admitted to the DailyMail his reasoning behind his sudden change of part(s), citing Caitlyn Jenner, 67, (formerly Bruce Jenner) who underwent gender reassignment earlier this year, as his inspiration.
“I will do what Caitlyn Jenner did. When I reach my late 50s, I would rather be a sexy old lady than a saggy old man.”
He also spoke about his ambitions to be more philanthropic.
“I’m growing my hair out to donate it to kids with cancer so they can make wigs out of it.”

If Alves goes ahead with a sex change, he will be battling Pixee Fox, for the title of ‘Living Barbie Doll‘. Pixee, who is also known as ‘The Living Cartoon Project’, has had 200 procedures and six ribs removed to look like a cartoon character.
Despite being warned of the serious health risks he would face should he choose to have more surgeries, Alves will continue his path to perfection.
Just last year, the 33-year-old British citizen, was rushed to hospital after an infection began to eat away at his face. Alves was in Malaga, Spain, when he began suffering from necrosis – a life threatening condition that kills cells in the body.
Speaking from his hospital bed, Alves told The Sun:
“A horrible hole has appeared in my nostril and the infection is eating my nose and I’ve been warned if it is not stopped it could eat into my face. It’s very hot and dusty here and I wonder whether this might have set the infection off.”
Alves said he has no plans to stop the surgeries and next on the wishlist is mandibular implants (jaw implants).
