Jennifer Garner
The trick to her ripped biceps? The actress took her workouts to a whole new level in preparation for her role in the upcoming action movie Peppermint. Her trainer Simone De La Rue, founder of Body by Simone, says Jen did six workouts a week, for one to two hours per day.
The star, 46, focused on lifting around 7kg weights and relied on resistance bands to build strength.
To increase her muscle definition, tricep extensions and tricep dips were her go-to.
Jennifer Aniston
Trainer Danielle Lagree is responsible for 49-year-old Jen’s uber-toned arms. She recommends placing a resistance band behind your upper back and wrapping each end around your hands.
Starting with elbows bent at 90 degrees by your side, reach your hands forward on the diagonal, so that they crisscross at about the wrist point, then bring your elbows back to your side again.
Do this for one minute. Keep your core engaged and your knees bent slightly throughout.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
For runway-ready arms, Rosie, 31, works with Victoria’s Secret trainer Justin Gelband, who loves using resistance tubes (see image below).
One of his favourite exercises? Rosie grabs the handles of a double-handled band while Justin holds the centre point.
For this tricep move, turn around and tilt forwards, with your arms above your head holding the handles. Then bend your elbows forwards and backwards.
