Revealing her near-10kg weight-loss, actress Drew Barrymore stepped out for the launch of her home décor line in New York City on Thursday.
And while the star was proud to admit that she had dropped the extra kilos while filming the Netflix series Santa Clarita Diet, she confessed that it wasn’t all smooth sailing.
“I’ve been very disciplined, and all I did was cry and dream about pizza. I still am dreaming and crying about pizza,” the Never Been Kissed star told Us Weekly.
The mother-of-two stunned in a simple black midi-dress that cinched at the waist, revealing her enviable curves.
“I was 144 pounds [65.3kg] and now I’m 124 pounds [56.2kg],” she says. “I feel really great. I followed Kimberly Snyder’s methods, but I added some protein like fish and chicken since she’s all vegetarian or vegan.
Kimberly Snyder is a renounced celebrity nutritionist and bestselling diet author with a high-profile clientele, including Reese Witherspoon, Chris Hemsworth and Fergie.
And although Drew is clearly keeping off problem foods, she admits that she’ll be letting her guard down in the silly season.
“The holidays are coming up, so I’m going to enjoy some of that stuffing!” she reassures.
At 41, this mother-of-two has done a fabulous job maintaining her youth. Her secret? Korean face masks.
“I honestly have everything. I just took a trip there and came back with moving boxes full of masks and I’ve been studying them,” the blonde beauty quips.
“I don’t do anything invasive on my face, so this is the most exciting thing that’s happened to a mom like me. I was feeling 42 and tired, and I need something and the Korean masks have actually changed my life.”
Back in July, the actress officially filed papers to divorce her third husband Will Kopelman. The legal move came three months after the couple first announced their plans to go their separate ways.
“Sadly our family is separating legally, although we do not feel this takes away from us being a family,” the couple shared in a joint statement.
“Divorce might make one feel like a failure, but eventually you start to find grace in the idea that life goes on. Our children are our universe and we look forward to living the rest of our lives with them as the first priority.”

Drew has since made it her mission to share the important message that being by yourself, doesn’t mean you’re lonely.
Besides a recent snap of her dining solo with a magazine, the star wrote: “Ok I know this is going to seem silly, but I want to be always happy just being by myself too.”
She went on: “Ok to be alone. Never lonely. So I grabbed myself, and went to lunch with a magazine and I could not be more happy to steal this rare and treasured moment.”
Signing off with an important lesson, the mother of Olive, four, and Frankie, two, wrote: “You are your own best friend sometimes.”
