The proud parents, who tied the knot in December last year, took to Instagram to share their happy news with a heartfelt post.
“We are overjoyed about the birth of our precious baby girl Jagger Snow Ross, July 30, 2015,” the message read on both Ashlee and Evan’s pages.
Last month Evan, whose mother is music legend Diana Ross, hinted an edgy name for their baby was on the cards.
“You guys will figure out the story behind it once we tell the name,” he told People magazine.
Meanwhile Ashlee is already the proud mother of five-year-old son Bronx from her first marriage to Fall Out Boy rocker, Pete Wentz, which ended in 2011.
And it looks like little Bronx is stoked to become a big brother all over again.
“I told him pretty early on. He wanted to have a sister, so he’s really excited! He’s got a little brother. Now he’s going to have a little sister,” the Pieces of Me hitmaker told People in February.
Bronx is already the big brother to eleven-month-old Saint Laszlo, who is Pete Wentz’s son with girlfriend Meagan Camper.
The Simpson clan continues to expand as Ashelee’s big sister Jessica Simpson is the mother to Maxwell Drew, three, and Ace Knute, two with husband Eric Johnson.
Congratulations to Ashlee and Evan, we can’t wait to meet Jagger Snow Ross and with a name like that we’re sure she’s destined for big things!
