Therese Kerr has come under fire after she shared her bizarre diet, which includes “reverse osmosis water” and a homemade fermented milk drink.
The health-obsessed mum of supermodel Miranda Kerr consumes a bevy of unusual products every day, starting with warm water and lemon washed down with kefir, a dairy drink she ferments herself.
After a green smoothie, Therese enjoys a glass of “reverse osmosis water”, which is water that has been passed through a semi-permeable membrane which claims to remove more than 99 per cent of contaminants.
This is followed by homemade chai, another smoothie, beef stew with quinoa and steamed chicken with vegetables, more chai, a flourless cookie and organic salmon with salad leaves.
Therese revealed her eating habits in Sunday Life’s “My Day on a Plate” column, the same section Pete Evans infamously extolled the virtues of “activated almonds”.
Therese’s dietary revelations have seen her similarly ridiculed, with news outlets branding her “the new Pete Evans”.
Therese used to run daughter Miranda’s Kora cosmetics brand before stepping down in 2013 and starting up her own complementary organic skin care company, Divine By Therese Kerr.
