Apparently, the most important meal of the day can also be the sexiest…
While paying a visit to Stephen Colbert on The Late Show, the former daytime host decided to whip up her most seductive meal, straight out of her new cookbook, Food, Health and Happiness.
Dubbed scrambled eggs with hot salsa and avocado (emphasis on the “hot”), the recipe promises to make oneself feel good.
“What makes it sexy? Do you eat naked in front of a full length mirror?” joked the late-night host, adding: “Because I’ve done that.”
The Weight Watchers shareholder, who has lost almost 20 kilograms using the program’s ‘point’ system, blends a spicy salsa made up of serrano chillies, jalapeño chillies, onion, garlic and tomatoes, which she then layers on top of a light scrambled egg mix comprised of two whites and one full egg.
“That’s what makes it sexy,” she says.
To make the meal even more decadent, Oprah adds a dusting of her second favourite food after bread; truffle zest.
“Truffle zest… is that only for billionaires?” asks Colbert. “Do you just rub this under your arms in the morning?” he jokes of the product that despite its exclusive connotations, actually retails for around $20.
Naturally, the meal was a total success, with Stephen describing it to be “extremely sexy and I’m in a relationship right now.”
Oprah has found herself in a place of confidence after embarking on the journey to her healthiest, happiest self.
Speaking to People recently, the media mogul confessed how her new slender frame has improved her relationship dynamic with longtime partner, Stedman Graham.
“I’ve lost enough weight he can pick me up and carry me to the pool. I can straddle him without breaking his back!”
Sexy breakfasts and a pool boy to boot? It’s shaping up to be a very happy new year for Oprah, indeed…
