In a series of unfortoothate events (sorry), David Beckham has been rushed to an emergency dentist after breaking his tooth in a snowboarding accident – days after son Brooklyn was also injured in a similar fashion.
Hours after landing back in London following an eventful winter getaway in Whistler, Canada, the 41-year-old allegedly sought dental care for a cracked tooth he sustained upon taking a fall on the slopes.
He’s reportedly had the damaged incisor fixed, and in true sports star style, walked it off with his head held high.
“David is a trooper and didn’t make a fuss. He took it all in his stride,” a source told The Sun.
“There’s no need to panic now that he’s lost the good looks that landed him a fortune. But it was a worrying time,” they added.
The father-of-four’s accident came just days after his eldest boy took a tumble himself – one so bad it resulted in a snapped collarbone.
The stomach-churning moment was incidentally caught on camera and later uploaded to social media with the simple caption: “Broke my collarbone at the end.”
A second snap of a telling X-ray confirmed the aspiring photographer’s injuries, which forced him to retire from the family holiday early.
“Just before his accident … Brave boy xx sorry ( man ),” Dad David shared in a sweet tribute at the time.
Since you’re all wondering – David’s procedure appeared to be a smash success, and his winning smile lives on.
A photo uploaded to Instagram of him looking drop-dead-adorable while holding a pie (our two great loves in one photo), has served as the relief that all is indeed right in the world.
Phew!
