This family of three are about to become four!
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have been talking about giving baby Luna a sibling for months. And now they could be just days away from announcing that they will be hearing the pitter-patter of tiny feet once more.
Yep, Chrissy revealed to US InStyle that she and John are planning on getting pregnant again through in vitro fertilization (IVF) soon rather than later.
The pair have always been open about their fertility struggles – like having to undergo IVF to conceive their 17-month-old daughter Luna, but Chrissy revealed that she’d suffered a miscarriage before Luna was born.
The couple originally started with 20 embryos, only three of which were healthy to use after being tested.
“The first little girl didn’t work, and then the second is Luna,” she shared.
The third and final embryo will be implanted in the coming months. However, if the implantation isn’t viable they will have to undergo the IVF process again to create more embryos.
Meanwhile, Chrissy has already revealed that their next bub will be a boy. “Because that is the embryo we have left. A boy,” she revealed on Twitter back in January.
Of course, whatever happens, Chrissy knows that she is already blessed to have one healthy child and a supportive hubby.
“I’m much luckier to have John’s personality in my life than he is to have mine,” she said.
“He is insanely patient and such a dork, and he loves seeing me happy, even if that means watching The Real Housewives of Dallas with me for two and a half hours.”
