The Last Resort‘s Sharday McAvoy has totally made over her body. A self-described “chubby kid” in high school, the blonde beauty hit the gym, cut out the cake and shed 60kg (half her body weight) in three years.
“I was sick of being fat,” straight-talking Sharday tells OK! in an exclusive chat. “Being fat was crap. I was bullied in high school. Then I got out of high school and I was like, ‘I don’t want to be like that, it’s not who I am.'”
“I was still confident at 120kg, I still rocked a bikini, I owned it. But I wanted to be fitter.”

The 27-year-old, who’s hoping to salvage her relationship with boyfriend and babydaddy Josh on the reality relationship show, underwent an incredible transformation that saw her go from 120kg at her biggest to 58kg over three years.
“I changed my lifestyle, cut out the sh-t, went to the gym with a friend and the weight slowly dropped off,” Sharday tells OK!.
The redo also included a breast augmentation.
“When I lost the weight the boobs were empty sacks that hung down to my belly button,” says the stunner, whose daughter with Josh, Tyla, turns three in June. “I had a full breast reconstruction and now they’re a nice firm D.”
The mega transformation has led to Sharday getting modelling jobs on the Gold Coast, where she also works as a medical receptionist.
“Modelling was something I wanted to do because I was confident anyway,” she explains to OK!. “It was mainly catwalk modelling and I loved it. I was like, ‘I f-cking lost a sh-tload of of weight, look at me, I’ve done this!'”
Sharday and Josh were already separated when they decided to join four other couples on The Last Resort.
“We were the ideal candidates,” the 27-year-old says, adding that their relationship turned sour when she fell pregnant with daughter, Tyla.
“I told Josh our child wasn’t his,” Sharday reveals. “We had a lot of trust issues, insecurities, the list goes on forever.”
A DNA test later revealed Josh was, in fact, the father. But the security operations manager admits he still struggles with missing out on the first weeks of his daughter’s life.
