Former Biggest Loser contestant turned hottie Sam Rouen is gearing up for his toughest challenge yet.
After shedding a whopping 71 kilograms and being crowned winner of the 2008 series, the 26-year-old has been fighting fit and working hard to keep his weight off.
And it’s certainly paid off.
Sam, who started the Channel Ten reality show at 154kg, has not only landed the job of his dreams-to become a firefighter, but the boy from Bradbury is now battling it out against some of Australia’s sexiest firies to feature in the 2016 NSW Firefighters Calendar.

The tall, dark and handsome youngster is a favourite to model in the shirtless calendar, which aims to raise money for the The Children’s Hospital at Westmead Burns Unit.
“I now need to keep up the training and hit the weights in case I’m chosen,” he told the Daily Telegraph.
Dubbed “chunk to hunk,” Sam says he has kept his weight off by sticking to a healthy diet and exercising regularly.

“I adapted into the lifestyle,” he said.
“I made it a part of my life to go to the gym every day and change my diet.”
Of becoming a fiery, Sam said he “couldn’t imagine doing anything else.”
“It was always something I wanted to do but thought I couldn’t do,” he said.
