Every now and then, a star comes along who shines so bright it captivates the world, and without a doubt, for this generation that is Adele.
And although her voice and passion for music is what has allowed her to break every conceivable industry record, including a whopping 86 awards, her stunning debut looking happy, healthy and much slimmer is blowing our mind.
She’s releasing her first album in four years on Friday and it seems the mum-of-one has taken control of her diet and exercise regime after she is spotted in New York looking svelte.
In her recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine the 27-year-old dished to dirt on her weight loss journey.
“It’s not to be a size zero or anything like that, I mainly moan. I’m not skipping to the f***ing gym, I don’t enjoy it,” she quipped.
However, the 10-time Grammy winner explained that there is something about exercising she does enjoy.
“I do like doing weights,” she added, “I don’t like looking in the mirror. Blood vessels burst on my face easily so I’m so conscious when I’m lifting weights not to let them burst in my face.”
When she released her second album 21 in 2011, Adele reportedly lost around 15kgs, telling Radio One, “I’m trying to be veggie [a vegetarian], I can find another way of getting all the stuff out of meat you need. I hate that tofu stuff though. It’s rank. Whenever I’m about to eat meat I always see my little dog’s eyes.”
It seems her weight has dropped again and as she makes a stunning comeback things couldn’t be better in her personal life, either. She is the proud mother to three-year-old son Angelo and is blissfully happy with boyfriend Simon Konecki – it all looks really, really good you Adele!
