Emma Watson stepped out in London for the premiere of her highly anticipated new movie Beauty and the Beast looking like the real-life version of Belle.

She was joined by co-stars Dan Stevens, who plays the Beast, and Luke Evans, who stars as Gaston.

Emma wore a bespoke, off-the-shoulder Emilia Wickstead gown with structural detailing and train and it was almost as though she was still in costume.

In true sustainable Emma form, the dress was made from off-cuts that would have likely only seen the bottom of a bin.

“The gown is made from end-of-line fabric sourced from a family-run, London business specialising in couture fabrics, and produced in Italy,” Emma said on her Instagram. “These unwanted fabric pieces have been given a new lease of life; often irregular quantities of surplus or end-of-line fabrics cannot be sold and are destroyed. This piece was created in Emilia Wickstead’s London atelier, by an all-female team.”

Loving the understated makeup.

Also, in keeping with Emma’s efforts to only use sustainable brands, her make-up artist Caroline Barnes used all-natural and cruelty-free makeup products to get Emma red carpet ready.

Simply gorgeous.

Before hopping on the Eurostar to London for premiere, Emma was in Paris for a photocall for the film where she wore a custom-made Louis Vuitton dress in royal blue.

“The dress fabric is Newlife recycled polyester, created from used plastic bottles. These are sourced, mechanically processed and spun into yarns in Italy, with a fully traceable supply chain. This saves energy and reduces CO2 emissions compared to creating brand-new polyester fibre. The arm band was created in a carbon-neutral mill.” Emma explained on Instagram.

She went for edgy hairstyle and simple makeup so that it didn’t clash with the graphic dress.

A video was also released this week of Emma singing in the film – and she really can sing.

The actress has fully embraced the role of Belle, even drawing inspiration from the character’s hairstyle.

Spot the difference.

We honestly can’t wait to see what she wears next.
