Australia, it’s time to celebrate your favourite breakthrough artists and home-grown musical heroes.
That’s right, the 32nd ARIA Awards are officially underway as the biggest names in Aussie music walk the red carpet at The Star in Pyrmont, Sydney.
This year, they’re doing things a little differently and you may notice something new about the red carpet. Thanks to Sydney’s apocalyptic storms, the red carpet was moved inside to prevent any safety issues and soaking stars!

The iconic music ceremony launched in 1987, with Elton John scoring the coveted hosting gig.
This year’s ARIA Awards will be hosted by our very own country music icon Keith Urban.
Despite his overflowing treasure trove of accolades, include four Grammy Awards, ten Country Music Association Awards, 11 Academy of Country Music Awards, a People’s Choice and an American Music Award, Nicole Kidman’s other half admits he’s quietly crapping himself ahead of tonight’s hosting gig.
“I’m nervous as s–t And then I think ‘Ah, it’s the ARIAs, everyone will be hammered by the first song. They’re all tanked when they get there.’ So it’ll be all right. No pressure,” Keith recently confessed to The Daily Telegraph.
The 51-year-old crooner has his work cut out for him as he’ll also be taking to the stage to perform his smash single The Fighter with ARIA nominee Amy Shark.
Keith isn’t the only Aussie legend at the event with beloved songstress Kasey Chambers set to be inducted into the 2018 ARIA Hall of Fame.
Meanwhile singer Amy Shark is tipped to be the breakout star of the night, raking in the most nominations with a jaw-dropping nine nods. Singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett isn’t far behind with an impressive eight nominations to her name.
Of course, it’s not just the music we’re here to celebrate with the ARIAs always attracting our favourite reality TV stars, celeb power couples and Insta influencers.
As we bring you all the action from the 2018 ARIAs red carpet, you’ll also be able to watch the ceremony on Channel Nine from 7:30pm!
