Early February it was announced in the coolest way possible that Aussie power couple Hamish and Zoë Foster Blake would be soon welcoming their second child together.

The country exploded with congratulatory messages and well-wishes for the loved-up pair as they continue to grow their picture-perfect family. But no-one could possibly have been more excited than soon-to-be big brother, Sonny, who, after almost three years of croissant comparisons and relentless but all-in-good-fun teasing, will finally have a little sibling to run amok with.

As she now prepares to welcome the family’s newest addition, we’re taking a look back on some of the many times a pregnant Zoë Foster Blake gave us family feels.

While preparing for the imminent arrival of her new bubba, Zoë took a break from winning social media to get some pregnancy snaps taken by photographer Mrs White, surrounded by all her “favourite toys” and of course, her beloved cat Meowbert. “When I demanded a Dior gown, a golden pond and a dozen ballerinas for my pregnancy portrait, Mario Testino said it’d be fine. But then my mate @mrswhitephotos said SHE’D do it, AND I could have all my favourite toys in the photo. Sulaaamm dunk,” Zoë joked. Nice work, Zo.

Zoë visited friend Bec Judd’s radio show to talk about her new app Break-Up Boss. The busy mum then raced off to watch hubby Hamish during a taping of his radio show yesterday while he and Andy tried to eat the McDonald’s menu (no judgement there). Zoë wore a black, Saint Laurent jumper with a geometric star print, topping off the stylish look with a leather jacket and dark jeans.

As they count down to the impending arrival of their second child, Zoe and Hamish jetted off to luxury resort Qualia in the Whitsundays. Rocking a stylish black bikini and her natural curls, the Break-Up Boss creator gives serious lessons in holiday dressing.

Only Zoe could make a T-shirt and sun hat look this good! Soaking up the sun on her babymoon, the author joked: “Just on the topic of pants, I’m not wearing any.”

When she said a reluctant goodbye to her best dress. “Sweet son of mine, I’m afraid wearing this pre-pregnancy dress has reduced my oxygen intake to critical levels; this might be our last ever photo. Let’s make it cute,” she shared.

When she revealed her second pregnancy mirroring Beyonce’s shock twins announcement… with a hilarious twist. “We made a best friend pact to announce the news with high-concept, oversaturated floral imagery and mismatched lingerie on the SECOND of February. But not only did my ‘best friend’ announce her pregnancy on the FIRST of February, she added an extra baby to make sure HER announcement was more special.”

When she celebrated Christmas as a secret family-of-four. “Two out of three ain’t bad. (Matchy-matchy outfits/smiles.) Happy Chrimmus, everyone. I hope your day has been joyful. I think you’re terrific.”

When she was prepared for anything and everything. “DON’T WORRY. They are not actual children. What they ARE though, are the perfect way to learn CPR, (and what to do if a child chokes/burns/drowns/sips Ajax/has an allergic reaction when we feed it PB gelato) all of which we learned today. I now feel unreasonably confident should sh*t ever hit fans, and very much recommend the course to all parents/parents to be.”

When she was utterly fabulous despite feeling like a self-professed “pregbot”.

When she put her cravings first. “He lovingly touches the belly thinking it’s his child, but today mostly it was yum cha. Sucker!”

When she kept it real. “Well, it’s that time again: Logies time! Here I am in last year’s gown, courtesy of the magnificent @steven_khalil… And here I am in this year’s gown, courtesy of Crown Towers/a 37 week-old baby. The similarities are striking! (If by ‘striking’ you mean ‘non-existent.’)”

When hubby Hamish was her Christmas miracle. “From all “four” of us, HAPPY CHRIMBUS! Have a beautiful day, festive frogs and Christmas cats.”
