When you think of a white suit, itโ€™s easy to picture 1970s John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever but as it turns out, the ensemble is making a 21st century comeback.

And Kate Middleton just proved the look is still a style must-have in 2022, especially since the weather is still so cold here in Australia.

In August the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out at the Commonwealth Games in a chic all-white ensemble, pairing an Alexander McQueen suit sheโ€™s had in her wardrobe for years with casual accessories.

A crisp white tee and neutral two-tone flats completed the look, the royal opting for minimal jewellery as she embraced subtle power dressing.

And sheโ€™s not the only one obsessed with the power of a pristine white suit.

Earlier in the year, not one but three of our favourite celebrities donned white suits with their own unique spins in April, proving this style is very much back in fashion.

On day one of the 2022 Invictus Games, Meghan Markle wowed fans when she stepped out in a white Valentino number that she paired expertly with matching heels โ€“ the same ones she wore to dance the night away at her wedding reception.

The oversized double-breasted jacket and the perfectly tailored trousers made the mum-of-two look effortlessly chic but it wasnโ€™t long before we saw another star dressed in practically the same outfit.

Hot off the heels of eldest son Brooklynโ€™s wedding, Victoria Beckham celebrated her 48th birthday over the Easter weekend dressed to impress in her own white suit.

The former Spice Girl turned fashion designerโ€™s outfit was from her own range and featured an oversized blazer paired with slim fit trousers.

Itโ€™s not the first time weโ€™ve seen Posh in a white suit but fans certainly loved the look.

Even in Australia, one of our favourite celebrities jumped on the white suit trend.

Whilst attending the races in Sydney in April, model Jesinta Franklin oozed glamour in a belted Fendi ensemble that she matched with a colourful clutch and had her hair slicked back in a ponytail.

โ€œBeautiful outfit beautiful lady!โ€ one fan commented on Instagram.

Whilst celebrities have the luxury of stylists and budgets we can only dream of, the white suit is definitely an investment thatโ€™s worth it.

Off to the races! Jesinta Franklin looked radiant in her power suit.

Whether youโ€™re buying just a jacket, the pants or splurging on both, itโ€™s a timeless outfit that will make you stand out whether youโ€™re heading to the races a la Jesinta, dressing up for a work or just going out for dinner with friends.
