On March 19, Prince William and Catherine, Duches of Cambridge jetted off on their first official royal tour in almost two years.
With plans to travel through Belize, Jamaica and the Bahamas, the couple were ready to trade the brisk London chill for the sunshine and heat of the beautiful nations they were about to touch down in.
And that meant something very special for Catherine; a chance to show off her summer style in vibrant colours and bold prints that pay homage to the fashions of each of the countries she was about to visit.
From the moment she and William touched down, the duchess was ready to embrace bold hues and delightfully laid-back outfits that were perfect for some of their more hands-on engagements.
Pairing chic new styles with accessories she’s had in rotation for more than 10 years, the duchess was clearly setting up to provide a royal masterclass in reinventing recycled pieces.
And by god, did she look good doing it!

For her final appearance of the tour, Catherine chose an ’80s inspired belted dress by Alessandra Rich which retails at an impressive $2,800. She paired the yellow printed frock with white Gianvito Rossi pumps and a matching Ferragamo clutch.
Waving goodbye to the Bahamas – and their tour – the couple jetted back to the UK and their children, who have been waiting on their return.
For the final day of her and William’s tour of the Caribbean, Catherine slipped into this cotton candy pink Rixo dress with a matching clutch from Emmy London, one of her favourite brands and her trusty Castañer brown espadrilles.
At an outing to the Bahamian Daystar Evangelical Church, the duchess also wore her eye-catching Nadia Irena ‘Maya’ earrings, which she’d worn the day before.
There was only one word to describe Catherine in this Phillipa Lepley gown: heavenly. The luxurious turquoise satin gown stole the show as she and William attended a glamorous reception hosted by the Bahamian Governor General.
Catherine chose recycled jewels for the evening reception, donning the same Van Cleef & Arpels necklace and earring set she wore to the BAFTAs in 2020, and completed the look with a blue satin Lulu Guinness clutch.
Even a shower of rain couldn’t dull the duchess’ shine in this comfy, casual outfit on day seven of the tour. She wore a Gill Marine polo and Superga sneakers for The Bahamas Platinum Jubilee Sailing Regatta at Montagu Bay, later adding a Tribord sailing jacket to keep the rain off.
Catherine looked divine in this floating green frock by Self Portrait as she visited Sybil Strachan Primary School in Nassau, pairing it with white leather Jimmy Choo pumps.
Even a shower of rain couldn’t spoil her mood, and the yellow underside of her umbrella paired perfectly with her large gold Nadia Irena ‘Maya’ earrings.
Too sweet! As they touched down in the Bahamas, Catherine changed into this bespoke Emilia Wickstead dress with a unique open collar.
The 40-year-old wore this vibrant green Emilia Wickstead frock as she and William headed to the airport to jet to the Bahamas, accessorising with a unique hummingbird brooch on loan from the Queen. Catherine wore the same frock at the women’s single’s finals at Wimbledon 2021.
Catherine began day six of the royal tour in this heavenly bespoke Alexander McQueen white lace dress, which she paired with a Philip Treacy hat and her favourite Emmy London Rebecca pumps in white.
Her jewellery was subtle but sentimental; the duchess wore the Queen’s Silver Jubilee pearl earrings and Princess Diana’s three-strand pearl bracelet for the occasion.
This Jenny Packham number stole the show when Catherine and William headed out for an evening reception on day five of the tour. She paired it with gold, diamond and emerald jewels on loan from the Queen.
Catherine made a statement in white on her second day in Jamaica, pairing this tailored Alexander McQueen suit with a bright orange Ridley London blouse and matching Willow Hilson Vintage bag.
As always, the Duchess opted for understated makeup and accessories, including a pair of Maria Black earrings she previously wore for her brief trip to Denmark in 2022.

She later threw a light jacket over the top of her outfit, keeping to the ultimate neutral colour palette.
Heading out for some more hands-on engagements on day two, Catherine changed into a colourful patterned maxi dress that paid homage to local fashions.
She donned a Tory Burch Smocked Midi Dress in the Blue Painted Roses pattern, which usually retails for $645 and sold out almost instantly after Catherine was spotted in it.
Catherine accessorised with this Anya Hindmarch Woven Fan Clutch, which she has had in her closet for years – the duchess was previously spotted carrying it in 2011 and 2014.
To complete her outfit, Catherine donned a set of cobalt blue Sezan ‘Charlie’ earrings, which retail for just $95, and comfy Stuart Weitzman ‘Minx’ wedge sandals.
